We have progressed from thermometers that got stuck up our rears, to ones that were jammed under our tongues, now to modern ones that work from a distance to take our temperature. Some things are improving as time goes on. Not a lot of things, but at least this one thing has changed for the better. 😜

I am not normally a fan of Christian music, but I added some TobyMac to my music stream. He's a pretty good singer, and some of his music appeals to me. Ofc, being hearing impaired actually works for me in this case... because I don't hear all the lyrics as intended. *coughs*

I queued his songs right before AC/DC. 😜

I am recovering slowly from the cataract surgery. The follow up eye appt was good: No issues after one day. I am seeing a little better in that eye as the days go by. It is, ofc, going to take a while, and I need the surgery on the other eye before my total vision will be stabilized ( Read more... )

My first cataract surgery went well, apparently. My father coming to pick me up after, that did NOT go well. I was in a bed laying there waiting for 3 1/2 hours after I was supposed to be released because no one could contact him.
